Chef Michael is featured under our Back of House 5 x 5 story and he and Donato can be seen in the Sea to Plate video on this site. Jonathan Gold, LA's Pulitzer prize winning food critic recently called Providence 'One of Los Angeles best restaurants if not its very best restaurant.' Now is your chance to come and experience the highest quality ingredients and such refined technique at LA's 'very best restaurant', Providence and celebrate the edible season with us.

 We at edible Los Angeles are pleased to announce that we raised enough money at the Eat the Magazine dinner at Grace to buy the 24th Schoolyard Garden an outdoor kitchen.

On June 30th the edible LA's Sea to Plate star turn - and Michelin starred - Providence Restaurant will be holding an seasonal prix fix in collaboration with the highly respected wine maker Greg Brewer.

It is packed full of really stellar stories – written and photographed by the crème de la crème of local writers and photographers.  We have brought the design in-house – it looks so beautiful - and had a blast putting together this exciting new and improved issue of edible Los Angeles.

Here’s my editor’s tasting menu for the issue – you’ll have to find us on stands or subscribe to fill yourselves up and don’t forget to check the website regularly for interesting and exciting stories and beautiful photographs.
